Large Groups: Overview

"We should pay more attention to the future,
because that’s where we’ll be spending the rest of our lives"

(Joel Barker)

Large group interventions make a major contribution to integrating all people affected in broad-scale change processes, utilizing their collective knowledge, inspiring people and giving them the opportunity to focus on a common goal. From 30 to 1,000 or more people can work together simultaneously and conceptualize the next steps into a shared future.

These methods are especially effective when large-scale change processes must be initiated or advanced in a relatively short amount of time.

The large group methods described here are very different and should be used only after a precise diagnosis of the tasks and the ultimate goal. The large selection of methods that we work with makes it possible to use them specifically, frequently also in combination, for a successful and lasting result.
