In my life I have experienced companies from many different perspectives. Starting out as a Graduate Linguist, I have been self-employed since 1987, including 13 years as owner and CEO of my own communications and PR agency. Since 1996 I have worked as coach, future design consultant and facilitator. In 1998 I facilitated the first German Future Search Conference with an entire city (Viersen).

 

In 2000 I established my consulting group for holistic corporate development and future design.

 

Today under the name "Bredemeyer& Friends" I work with national and international colleagues in the area of holistic development with emphasis on "Conscious Leadership" and "Healthy Growth" on a corporate or global level. We use management coaching and training programs, large group interventions, implementation, and train-the-trainer seminars.

 

Under the name "Global Insight Partners" I work with with international colleagues on a global level. Many years of experience in processes of global development, the complementary fields of our core competences and our compassion for a positive global development are the basis to co-create global large scale processes.

 

As author and co-author of several books and articles, I have also published various contributions in the field of moderating techniques and large group intervention methods.

 

 

& Friends


Friends for me are colleagues and also customers that I have met or advised over the past eleven years, with whom I have cooperated and together found set out on new paths to successful corporate development.

 

Among these "Friends" are many extraordinary coaches, consultants, trainers, and facilitators from Germany and all over the world, whom I have met and with whom I have worked in a variety of constellations. The basis of our work together are well-founded, future-oriented consulting concepts, good experiences with cooperative work, out of which grows a deep trust – just like that found among good friends. The often unusual methods and consulting concepts that we work with in processes with the collective intelligence of a system offer managers, organizations, and companies new possibilities for meeting and mastering the varied paradigm shifts of the 21st century.

 

And I also count my customers among these "Friends." Through close, and frequently long-term cooperation and challenging tasks that we have mastered together, friendships have often developed and thus mutual trust that makes it easier to try new paths and bring challenging projects together to successful completion.

My Personal Vision


Part of my personal vision is to be a „midwife“, a katalyst for the discovery and development of personal potential and of the collective wisdom of large groups of people for positive future development in organisations and on a global level.

 

My coaching programs, the large group conferences, and also the seminars and workshops that I lead all contribute to this goal. The enthusiasm that people show for themselves, their newly discovered potential and the collective wisdom after my work – and my own fulfillment in helping this come about – make it clear to me again and again that I have found the right path for myself.

 

 

Memberships and Cooperation


At the conference "Business & Consciousness," which I have been attending every year since 1998 in Acapulco and later in Santa Fe, I met many of my international colleagues. Since 2002, I am one of the cooperating partners of the International Initiative "Spirit in Business".

 

I am a member of the selection committee of the International Spirit at Work Award , which was inspired by the late visionary futurist Willis Harman, PhD (1919-1997). Four groups co-own and co-organize the Award:  The Association for Spirit at Work , the Spirit in Business Institute , the World Business Academy and the European Bahá’í Business Forum .

 

Since 2004 I am a member of the advisory board of the "Centre for Spirituality and the Workplace" , Sobbey Business School of the St. Mary's University, Halifax.

 

As a coach, facilitator and trainer for large group interventions I am also member of the Genuine Contact Mentoring Circle, of the International Coach Federation and the different international mentoring circles of the large group methodologies.

 

Cooperation with these colleagues and friends always opens new perspectives and offers a forum for exchange, learning, and mutual support. It facilitates for our customers individually adapted solutions based on international know-how for conscious, successful leadership and healthy growth. My German customers also profit from the new concepts and methods of my international colleagues, whose cooperation – when meaningful – has been incorporated in the development process of my customers.

 

 

Focus on Conscious Leadership


In 17 years of corporate consulting I have learned that change demands more than ever before from managers. For these processes, management must be well prepared. Even mature, self-aware, authentic managers experience these processes as challenging, but at the same time as a breakthrough into a new paradigm of corporate development. Together with competent colleagues, I provide guidance for managers as a coach (member of ICF, the International Coach Federation) in the preparation and implementation of change processes with the help of large group interventions. Within the framework of Spirit in Business I design and lead, together with my international colleagues, a wide range of seminars, workshops, and retreats for managers from all over the world who want to connect with and learn from their international counterparts. For further guidance and continued development of managers and employees, Bredemeyer & Friends offers seminars and workshops on the subjects of management quality, vision finding, communication skills and personality, presentation skills, conflict resolution, and team building.

 

 

Healthy Growth on a Broad Scale


Having been trained in the methods of Future Search Conferences, Open-Space Technology, RTSC Conferences, Community Building, Appreciative Inquiry, World Café, Health & Balance, and Genuine Contact, today in cooperation with my colleagues I concentrate mainly on offering support and guidance for companies and organizations in shaping their future and in managing change and development processes. When reasonably applied, these large group methods allow relatively quick transformations and therefore also healthy growth. The requirements for this are conscious management and a healthy company environment. The Health & Balance Program from Birgitt Williams is one of the programs we use to create the basis for this healthy growth.

 

Most of the large group methods I learned directly from their creators, such as Marvin Weisbord and Sandra Janoff, Harrison Owen, Birgitt Williams, David Cooperrider, Diana Whitney, Dr. Jim Peal, Lenette Saunders Peal, and many others. I am grateful for these wonderful tools that place the spirit, dignity, and self-determination of the individual in center focus and allow people to use democratic processes to create a self-chosen and self-directed future. These methods and processes are designed to result in independent and confident individuals capable of leading fulfilled professional lives with dedication and joy, which in turn makes it possible for them to contribute to the healthy growth of their companies and their societies.

 

 

Training – Seminars and Workshops


In public as well as in internal corporate programs, I lead – together with qualified colleagues – training sessions, seminars, and workshops for managers, trainers, large group moderators, and employees in the company who are involved in a change process. Training includes "Personal Health and Balance with the Holistic-Intuition-Process", "Horse Whispering for Managers – Conscious Leadership", "The Inside Equals the Outside – Your Posture Speaks Volumes," as well as the Genuine Contact Program from Birgitt Williams. In cooperation with my expert colleagues, I offer these and various other training programs for large group facilitation of Open Space conferences, Future Search Conferences, World Café events, and Real Time Strategic Change conferences.
